House Hunting
We've been looking at houses nearly non-stop and I keep finding a new "favorite" house that looks great on paper and in the main picture, but either has many structural problems or is right next to noisy street. Sigh. The last favorite house had this fabulous backyard, but the water damage and other building design errors meant that it needed over $80,000 worth of work just to get it to the point that we could move in.
The point is that I have to stop thinking of each house as "the one." There is no "one" house. There will be a house and we will make it ours, but until then I just need to think of a roof, good schools, and a garage.
