Felted
Whew. Luckily, leaving the bag in the washing machine overnight after the second wash did not adversely affect the bag shape. I remembered the bag this morning and it was still quite damp, so I pulled it over a box to dry. The bottom dried nice and square.
I think this will forever by my moving bag. I started it right after we found out we had sold our house and worked on it as Jeff drove us from house to house, looking for a place we could call home. I was early to my appointment to see the house on Fayeway drive, so I sat in the car with the windows open and knitted. All I could hear was birds and kids and the soft sounds of knitting.
It seems right to finish this project mere days before I move, the finish of a project before starting another.
