Despite the title being a steal from the Alison Krauss album, this is actually a blog about books and other new favorite things.

Say "I Don't"

Don't just you hate people who aren't married? Amendment 3 isn't just about marriage and who can get married. It eliminates the ability of any couple (of mixed or same gender) that are not married to make medical decisions, have visitation rights, have joint bank accounts, and would make legal documents such as powers of attorney, wills, and property arrangements open to challenge under the language that says "No other domestic union, however denominated, may be recognized as a marriage or given the same or substantially equivalent legal effect." Sign the Moveon.org petition and tell our State leaders that you don't want to amend the Utah Constitution to include language of fear and hate.
